TRY some common and lesser-known tea herbs that make a tasty herbal cuppa.
EXPLORE what makes a good blend and have a go at making your own.
LEARN some herbal lore, as we look at traditional uses of many of the herbs we’ll be tasting.
TAKE HOME your own herbal blend in a tea tin and some herbal tea blend recipes.

We’ll be in the POP shop workshop space at the back of the shop, please walk down the lane at the side of the shop.
Bring some warm layers with you, just in case it’s a cool September morning, as it is an unheated space.

Fresh and dried herbs for tasting teas.
Dried herbs and a tin for making your own tea blend.
Herbal tea recipe handout.
There will be some light refreshments during the workshop, including tea, water and some herby treats.

Please let us know of any allergies or intolerances in advance.
We’ll be trying a range of herbs and some blends will include caffeinated green tea.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a medical condition, or are taking medication, please consult a doctor or medicinal herbalist before delving into trying herbs. While drinking herbal teas is safe for most people, there are some herbs that can react with some medicines or medical conditions.

Cancellation policy
Please make sure you are able to attend on the date and time that you are booking for. A full refund is possible on cancellations up to 2 weeks before the event. After that, if you cannot make the workshop, you can pass your ticket on to a friend – let us know the name and contact details of who you’ve passed it on to.
A full refund will be offered if we cancel the workshop or change the date to a time you cannot make. We will only cancel or reschedule the date in extreme circumstances.
